Do you have a problem with alcohol, drugs, gambling, gaming/internet or other addictions? Having such a problem can be a struggle for anyone. When the behaviour is an addiction, a concerted and structured approach is needed to help get your life back on track before the problem spins out of control, affecting you and your family.
The National Addictions Management Service (NAMS) provides outpatient treatment for a broad range of addictions, including addiction to drugs, alcohol, gambling, internet/gaming and others, and has an inpatient facility (Serenity Centre) for patients who need detoxification or rehabilitation. NAMS also runs two satellite clinics in IMH's Community Wellness Clinics (CWCs) in Queenstown and Geylang.
At NAMS, we conduct many different programmes and support groups for patients to equip them with the skills and knowledge in managing their addiction. We also run separate groups for their families to come together to share their experiences and learn from each other in their journey towards recovery.
